key responsibilities:

1. assisting passengers during check-in and boarding: airport ground staff are responsible for helping passengers with the check-in process, ensuring they have the necessary documents and assisting them with boarding the aircraft.

2. ensuring the safety and security of passengers: ground staff need to be vigilant and proactive in maintaining the safety and security of passengers at all times.

3. handling luggage and cargo: ground staff are responsible for handling luggage and cargo, ensuring they are properly loaded onto the aircraft and delivered to the correct destination.

4. communicating effectively with airline crew: ground staff need to communicate effectively with airline crew members to ensure smooth operations and timely departures.

5. providing excellent customer service: airport ground staff must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to provide excellent customer service to passengers.

About Air India Airlines

Founded in 1932 as Tata Airlines by J. R. D. Tata, Tata himself flew its first single-engine de Havilland Puss Moth, carrying air mail from Karachi to Bombay's Juhu aerodrome and later continuing to Madras (currently Chennai).
