Job Description

As an Airport Ground Staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth airport operations and providing excellent service to passengers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Check-in Assistance:** Help passengers with check-in procedures, ensuring that they have their travel documents ready and providing information about their flights.

- **Baggage Handling:** Safely manage passenger luggage from check-in to loading onto the aircraft, ensuring that all bags are handled with care.

- **Customer Support:** Address passenger queries and concerns, providing helpful information regarding flights, terminal facilities, and other services available at the airport.

- **Boarding Coordination:** Assist in the boarding process, making sure passengers board the aircraft in an organized manner, checking their boarding passes, and managing any real-time issues.

- **Safety Compliance:** Ensure that all safety regulations and airport protocols are followed, maintaining a secure environment for passengers and staff.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

- **Communication Skills:** Good verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers, addressing their needs, and providing clear information.

About Air India Airlines

Founded in 1932 as Tata Airlines by J. R. D. Tata, Tata himself flew its first single-engine de Havilland Puss Moth, carrying air mail from Karachi to Bombay's Juhu aerodrome and later continuing to Madras (currently Chennai). After World War II, it was nationalised by the Government of India in 1953 and was renamed Air India.[4] On 21 February 1960, it took delivery of its first Boeing 707 named Gauri Shankar and became the first Asian airline to induct a jet aircraft in its fleet. In 200001, attempts were made to privatize Air India and from 2006 onwards, it suffered losses after its merger with Indian Airlines.
