key responsibilities:

1. assisting passengers: helping passengers with check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and other queries to ensure a smooth travel experience.

2. ensuring safety: following strict safety procedures to ensure the safety and security of passengers and staff at all times.

3. providing customer service: responding to passenger inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.

4. performing ground operations: assisting in aircraft maintenance, airport operations, ground handling, cargo handling, passenger handling, and more as required.

5. communicating effectively: using clear and concise communication to coordinate with team members, air traffic control, and other airport personnel.

6. maintaining cleanliness: keeping the airport premises clean and organized to provide a comfortable environment for passengers and staff.

7. adhering to regulations: following all aviation security protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

required skills and expectations:

- must be a 10th pass with 0-2 years of experience.

- strong communication skills in english to interact with passengers and team members effectively.

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- excellent interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

- knowledge of airport operations, ground handling, and aviation security procedures would be an advantage.

About Air India Airlines

Founded in 1932 as Tata Airlines by J. R. D. Tata, Tata himself flew its first single-engine de Havilland Puss Moth, carrying air mail from Karachi to Bombay's Juhu aerodrome and later continuing to Madras (currently Chennai). After World War II, it was nationalised by the Government of India in 1953 and was renamed Air India.[4] On 21 February 1960, it took delivery of its first Boeing 707 named Gauri Shankar and became the first Asian airline to induct a jet aircraft in its fleet. In 200001, attempts were made to privatise Air India and from 2006 onwards, it suffered losses after its merger with Indian Airlines.
