Flight crew members, primarily cabin crew or flight attendants, ensure passenger safety, security, and comfort throughout flights. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-flight safety checks, demonstrating emergency procedures, managing cabin operations, providing first aid, serving food/beverages, and assisting with special needs passengers. They must remain calm under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, and work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Safety and Security: Conducting pre-flight checks of emergency equipment, ensuring overhead bins are secure, demonstrating safety equipment, and enforcing safety regulations.

Emergency Management: Acting as first responders for medical emergencies, managing evacuations, and handling cabin fires or pressurization issues.

Customer Service: Greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, serving meals/beverages, handling in-flight sales, and ensuring passenger comfort.

Pre/Post-Flight Duties: Attending briefings, cleaning the cabin between flights, checking inventory, and reporting any cabin maintenance issues.

Conflict Resolution: Dealing with difficult or inebriated passengers to maintain a safe, calm environment.

Key Skills and Requirements

Communication: Excellent verbal communication for announcements and safety instructions.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact with diverse, international passengers.

Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and meet height requirements for overhead compartments.
