An Air Hostess (also known as Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant) is responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers during flights. The role combines customer service, safety management, and emergency response duties.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

✈️ Pre-Flight Duties:

Attend pre-flight briefings with pilots and senior crew

Check emergency equipment and cabin cleanliness

Verify passenger list, special requests, and meal plans

🛫 In-Flight Duties:

Welcome passengers and assist with boarding

Conduct safety demonstrations and ensure compliance

Serve food and beverages

Assist passengers with seating and luggage

Handle special passengers (elderly, children, VIPs)

Provide first aid when required

🛬 Post-Flight Duties:

Ensure passengers disembark safely

Prepare flight reports

Check cabin for lost items

🚨 Safety Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to aviation safety regulations

Handle emergency situations such as:

Turbulence

Medical emergencies

Fire or evacuation

Operate emergency equipment (oxygen masks, life jackets, exits)

🎓 Educational Qualification:

Minimum: 12th Pass

Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Aviation, Hospitality, or Travel & Tourism

👤 Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 18-27 years (varies by airline)

Height:

Female: ~155-160 cm minimum

Male: ~170 cm minimum

Good eyesight (may allow corrected vision)

Proficiency in English and Hindi (additional languages are a plus)

💼 Work Environment:

Airlines (Domestic & International)

Frequent travel across cities and countries

Irregular working hours, including night shifts and holidays

💰 Salary Range (India):

Fresher: ₹25,000 - ₹50,000 per month

Experienced: ₹50,000 - ₹1,20,000+ per month
