Job Description of US Accounting & Taxation
Responsibilities for Accounting

Analyze transactions in bank statements, get clarifications from clients on nature of transactions and post them in QuickBooks
Review accounting maintained by clients, suggest changes/appropriate GL accounts, help clients set up chart of accounts.
Prepare monthly trial balance and finalize the accounts
Process payroll, monitor US federal and state statutory compliance related to payroll
Speak with prospects for accounting/bookkeeping assignments and undertake business development activities concerning accounting/bookkeeping
Candidates with relevant experience in QuickBooks
Should have Knowledge of 1041 form & 1044 Form


Responsibilities for Taxation & Accounting
Prepare tax payments
Estimate and track tax returns
Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
Organize and update the companys tax database
Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
Share financial data with the accounting department
Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
Liaise with internal and external auditors
Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Account /Tax Accountant /Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
Familiarity with accounting knowledge
Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
Good analytical and time management skills
