Your Responsibilities Will Be: Prioritize Configurator related projects based on business strategy and working with globalbusiness process leader & resource them suitably. Collaborate with SBU, Engineering, Operation and Trade compliance teams to develop thefunctional requirements for Configurator and details them in standard Emerson formats likeproduct matrix, Part Per code, Lead time, Trade Compliance etc Provide technical leadership for overall Configurator development, issue resolution and pro-active approach towards improvements, maintenance & support by working closely with endusers. Drive Engineering Process using detailed approach, data driven decisions, project metrics(Lead time, FPY, Cost etc), continuous improvement and innovation. Provide People Leadership by attracting, developing & retaining top talents through suitableorganization structure, performance culture, open & candid communication in partnershipwith HR.You Will Need: Bachelors Degree in any Engineering field or equivalent from reputed institutes with aminimum of 15 yrs relevant exp Strong technical skills needed for product Configurator development. Outstanding engineering process skills involving NPD, DFSS, PLM etc Strong people leadership skills hiring, development, performance & retention. Project management skills involving scoping, prioritizing, work break down, estimation,resourcing, scheduling, risk management etc Experience in product configuration with major Configurator programming packages required- Behavioral competencies including Technical Savvy, Decision Quality, Optimizes WorkProcesses, Customer Focus, Develops Talent, Communicates Effectively, Drives ResultsPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience with Oracle OCD, Configit, or SAP VC preferred. Responsibilities Will Be: Order Management: Ensure daily order booking aligns raw material availabilityand update status against the plan as well as pending orders. Monthly Assembly Planning: Declare assembly plans at the start of eachmonth based on past dues, customer urgencies, material availability, andmanufacturing capacity. Weekly Planning Coordination: Coordinate with Material and Supply chaindepartments to schedule weekly assembly plans in alignment with monthlyproduction plans. Monitor Daily Meetings: Attend daily assembly board meetings and alignactions for stores /packing for material issues and QA for inspection priorities. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with in-house, subcontracting,supply chain and Quality to fulfill weekly assembly loading plans and addressday-to-day issues in planning and execution. Focus on past due orders andaddress customer urgencies ensuring manufacturing activities aligning with third-party inspection notifications in line with the build plan. Performance Monitoring: Monitor weekly assembly loading plans, analyze planversus actual performance, take corrective actions wherever needed, and striveto maintain uniform daily build rates with maximum efficiency.Preferred QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Skills/ Knowledge Required Minimum 5-6 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturingenvironment, preferably in valve manufacturing or a similar industry. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Baan ERP, for production planning andinventory management. Hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and supply chainmanagement. Experience in coordinating with multiple departments to ensure seamlessproduction planning and execution of orders. Analytical skills to monitor and improve production plans and processes.
