POSITION SUMMARY:Position will emphasize Virtualization and Windows administration skills. Responsible for designing, maintaining, and securing enterprise infrastructure with a strong focus on vulnerability management and regulatory compliance. Duties include identifying and remediating system vulnerabilities, coordinating patch management activities, monitoring security posture, enforcing compliance standards, and supporting audits across server, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices, maintain system reliability, and ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Position Responsibilities Perform vulnerability assessment, using the results of vulnerability scanners and remediation across infrastructure environments Manage patch deployment and system hardening activities Create exception documentation where applicable Monitor compliance with security frameworks, policies, and standards Support audit preparation and remediation tracking Maintain and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and storage systems Develop documentation, procedures, and compliance reports Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve overall security posture Preferred Skills Vulnerability management tools (Rapid7, PowerBi, etc...) Patch management platforms and automation Windows/Linux/Storage administration VMware/virtualization technologies, VCF/VMware, Nutanix Storage and backup technologies Security and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, etc.) Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and project implementations.
