This role bridges production, supply chain, and regulatory compliance.Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.Experience: Typically 5 to 10+ years of progressive QA/QC experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of food safety laws, hazard analysis, and quality management systems.Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent cross-functional communication.Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Control: Monitor incoming raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality specifications.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant food safety acts (e.g., FSSAI in India), as well as global standards like ISO, BRC, or FSSC 22000.Food Safety Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain integrated programs including FSMS, HACCP, GMP, and GHP.Audit Management: Organize and lead internal, customer, and third-party certification audits, while ensuring the timely closure of any observations or non-compliances.CAPA & Continuous Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for deviations or customer complaints, implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Laboratory Operations: Oversee testing, calibration of equipment, plant hygiene, and sanitation checks.Supplier Management: Evaluate raw material suppliers and coordinate with them to resolve quality issues.
