Responsible for treatment or diagnosis disease through use medical imaging technologies, such as X-rays, CT scans and MRIs, Ultrasound to diagnose and make decisions regarding patients' health problems. Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care.Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders.Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images.Performing minimally invasive surgical techniques with image guidance.Working with primary care doctors, nurses and radiology technicians to administer treatment and manage pain.

Analyze medical images to diagnose and monitor diseases, interpret test results, and communicate findings to other healthcare professionals. Perform interventional procedures using imaging guidance, such as biopsies or drain placements.
