KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :- Oversees and maintains all equipment Schedules preventive maintenance services on all equipment Recommends upgrades and repairs of equipment and systems Conducts repairs on frameworks and hardware Maintains records of all repairs Responds and attends to all requests for maintenance work. Maintain all maintenance reports and checklists Maintains clean and safe working environment

Plan and execute fabrication and machining / tool room related activities for inhouse developmentsAble to read & understand the designs / assembly drawings / part drawings of Jigs / fixtures / customized equipment / material handling equipment etc.Make a list of Raw Material needed as per the drawings Coordination with Purchase Department for procurement by following the company systems & proceduresPlan and arrange the resources / accessories needed like welding fixtures / drilling jigs / templates etc.Plan and arrange consumables needed for gas cutting, welding, shot blasting, painting, cutters / blades needed for different machines / powered tools, coolants etc.Manage fabrication team involving fitters, welders, helpers etc.Manage machining team involving basic operations like turning, milling, grinding, drilling etc.Manage tool room activities like cutter regrinding / sharpening etc.Coordination with maintenance team and ensure preventive maintenance of all the equipment & tools under his controlPrepare detailed BOM as per the fabrication drawingsPrepare necessary cutting plan for both fabrication and machiningRM storage, Inventory control and scrap control Guide fabrication team to cut the components from RM ensuring quality, no warpage, minimum scrap etcGuide fabrication team and inspect the fitment of components as per the drawings before final weldingGuide fabrication team for final welding ensuring no warpage during welding using necessary welding fixturesCoordination with Purchase Department / outside vendors for outsourced components which can not be produced in houseAssembly of fixtures or customized equipment after the the production of individual fabricated items or machined items as per the assembly drawingsQuality inspection and quality assurance / problem solvingErection of manufactured fixtures / equipment at desired internal customer locations within the company premisesPreparation of SOPs and ensuring the processes as per SOPs
