Job briefWe are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a network engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.Responsibilities Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, TCP/IP) Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionRequirements and skills Proven hands-on network engineering experience Networking, LAN, VAN & WAN troubleshooting, Network Auditing. Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., DHCP, VPN, DNS) Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools Knowledge of configuration and maintenance

Roles and ResponsibilitiesTo provide 1st level Technical support related to GPON and taking ownership of Ticket and follow up cases.Visiting customer site and understanding customer requirement and configuring the devicesTaking Secure meeting session to support customer in trouble shooting network issuesEnsure that the tickets raised are closed as per SLA and if not escalate as per the escalation Matrix defined.Desired Candidate ProfileGood Knowledge on Networking Layers & OSI layers.Working and Troubleshooting on routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF & Static route Configuration of VLANs, RSTP, MSTP, IGMP, SNMPHands on experience on CISCO switchesKnowledge of Fibre Optic Network.--- GPONOnline support to clientVisit to clientReady to travel within KeralaMalayalam language is a must
