Connect and terminate 96-core fiber optic cables to ensure good signal quality.Test fiber cables using tools like OTDR, fusion splicers, power meters, and light sources.Identify and fix problems like signal loss, breaks, or damage.Install new fiber optic cables in underground, aerial, or building setups.Connect new cables to existing networks.Keep detailed records of splice locations, test results, and project updates.Update cable diagrams and documents for 96-core fiber projects.Quickly respond to and repair network outages or fiber breaks.Work closely with engineers, managers, and other technicians to complete tasks.Basic reporting and communication skills for client interaction.Work well with a team.
