This role requires a strong background in quality assurance and testing, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Develop and Implement Test Plans:** Create comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, approach, resources, and schedule for testing activities, ensuring thorough coverage of features and requirements.- **Conduct Manual and Automated Testing:** Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects, validate fixes, and ensure software functionality meets specified requirements.- **Collaborate with Development Teams:** Work closely with developers to understand product features and provide insights on potential quality issues early in the development process.- **Design Test Cases and Test Scripts:** Create detailed test cases and scripts based on specifications to ensure all scenarios are evaluated, including edge cases.- **Report and Track Defects:** Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring that all issues are resolved prior to product release.- **Mentor Junior QA Engineers:** Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the team.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in both manual and automated testing is essential, along with experience in testing tools.
