As a Ramp Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations at the ramp area of the facility. Your role is crucial for ensuring that all loading and unloading procedures are carried out smoothly and safely.Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Ramp Activities: You will manage and monitor all ramp operations to ensure that items are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.- Coordinate Team Tasks: You will guide and support ramp staff, ensuring everyone knows their responsibilities and can work together effectively.- Ensure Safety Compliance: You will enforce safety guidelines and practices to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.- Monitor Equipment Usage: You will keep an eye on the equipment used for loading and unloading, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any issues.- Maintain Records: You will help maintain accurate records of all ramp activities, including logs of incoming and outgoing shipments.Required Skills and Expectations:- You should have at least a 10th-grade education and preferably some experience in warehouse or ramp operations, although freshers are welcome to apply.- Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to interact with team members and other departments.- You should possess good organizational skills, as managing multiple tasks and priorities will be part of your daily work.- A basic understanding of safety protocols in a work environment is important, as you must ensure compliance among team members.- You should be physically fit and able to handle the demands of working on a ramp, which may include lifting and moving items.
