Key ResponsibilitiesChemical & Instrumental Analysis: Perform routine and non-routine testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished organic products using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR interpretation, and wet chemistry.Method Testing & Standardization: Perform assays, purity checks, moisture content (KF titration), pH tests, viscosity, melting/boiling point determinations, and optical rotation tests according to standard test procedures (STP).Sample Preparation & Reagents: Prepare standard volumetric solutions, test reagents, and mobile phases; standardize solutions and calibrate laboratory instruments regularly.Documentation & Data Integrity: Maintain complete, error-free laboratory raw data sheets, analytical registers, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and logbooks in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and cGMP guidelines.Troubleshooting & Out-of-Specification (OOS): Identify analytical anomalies, participate in OOS (Out of Specification) and OOT (Out of Trend) investigations, and support root cause analysis (RCA).Lab Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment, safely handle hazardous organic chemicals/solvents, and ensure correct disposal of chemical waste per internal safety protocols.
