Production engineers are responsible for supervising and improving production at plants and factories. They support engineering teams, draw up safety protocols, report issues to the manager, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and profit.

The identification and/or generation of all documentation related to the integration ofnew products into the production environment. Perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts,manufacturing process design, set up and tooling. Identification of subsequent changes to manufacturing and assembly drawings asnecessary. Optimisation of processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improvingproductivity. Providing assistance in the assembly and maintenance of engineering and othertechnical files
