The Manager of Plant Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring all equipment runs efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities include:- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize the performance of plant equipment.- Supervision of Staff: Lead and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.- Budget Management: Create and manage the budget for maintenance operations, making cost-effective decisions without compromising quality.- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards, fostering a culture of safety within the team.- Problem Solving: Address and resolve equipment issues quickly to prevent disruptions in production, while implementing solutions to enhance overall reliability.Required skills include strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. The manager should have a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in maintenance management software.
