Assistant Electronic EngineerResponsibilities1. Program Development and Implementation: Designing and writing PLC programs: This involves translating process requirements and control logic into ladder logic, function block diagrams, structured text, or other PLC programming languages. Implementing Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs): Designing and configuring HMIs for operator interaction and visualization of process data. Testing and debugging programs: Thoroughly testing programs in simulated and real-world environments to identify and resolve errors.2. System Integration and Commissioning: Integrating PLCs with other automation components: Connecting PLCs to sensors, actuators, motors, and other devices. Commissioning and start-up of automated systems: Overseeing the installation, testing, and start-up of automated systems, ensuring they function correctly and safely. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues: Diagnosing and resolving problems with PLC programs, hardware, and communication networks. Calibrating instruments and devices: Ensuring accurate and reliable operation of sensors and actuators, temperature meter, etc.3. Maintenance and Support: Maintaining and updating existing PLC programs: Modifying programs to accommodate process changes, improve efficiency, or address issues. Providing technical support to operators and maintenance personnel: Assisting with troubleshooting, training, and documentation. Performing preventive maintenance on PLC systems: Regularly inspecting and testing PLC hardware and software to prevent failures. Documenting PLC programs and system configurations: Documenting the machine operational, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance manual. Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for program logic, hardware configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
