The Design Manager will work closely with architects, engineers, and clients todeliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:1. Structural Engineering:o Provide technical leadership on structural engineering aspects of projects, ensuring designs meet safety, stability, and performance standards. o Develop structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications, whileconsidering building codes, material properties, and environmental factors. o Perform feasibility studies, load assessments, and risk analysis for proposedstructural systems. o Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to address any structuralissues during the construction phase.o Ensure cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative structural solutions. 3. Project Management:o Create and manage design schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. o Monitor project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met and projects remainontrack. o Lead regular design coordination meetings with project stakeholders and clients. o Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, andenvironmental sustainability goals. 4. Team Leadership & Development:o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers and engineers, providing technicalguidance and performance feedback. o Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaborationwithinthe design team. o Identify and support opportunities for professional growth and development forteam members. Qualifications: Education:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering . A Master's degree in or certification StructuralEngineering / Architecture or certification Design Management is preferred. Experience:o 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a designmanagement role. o Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary design teams on large-scaleconstruction projects. o In-depth knowledge of building materials, structural systems, and engineeringdesign software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, etc.). Skills:o Strong project management and leadership abilities. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectivelywithclients, teams, and stakeholders. o Proficient in structural analysis and design software. o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks andmeetingdeadlines. o Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
