Job Overview:Responsible for modelling / sculpting of photorealistic creatures and characters andcreating textures, colors, and organic surface qualities needed in the completion of CG creatures andhard-surface models used in production.Reporting Relationships:This position report toKey Responsibilities: Fully comprehend the requirements on the designs thereby creating models true to their designs Create high quality, accurate models with appropriate point counts and UVs with valid andefficient layouts based on initial concepts and reference Create models conforming to modern standards, being aware of penetrations, overlappinggeometry, proper edge loops, etc. Create models that can be exported cleanly to other packages used in the production Implement improvements/changes based on review feedback Texture assets using a wide range of reference material and tools Ensure continuity and support other asset departments such as lookdev and rigging Work with the team to execute the desired look of complicated CG models, including creaturesand/or hard surface models, including real world vehicles and environments Need to maintain and complete the schedule and quotas given Deliver work within established project targets and the high-quality standards of the companySkills and Experience: Fresher and Minimum TWO years of VFX experience in modelling and texturing Must have an understanding of Anatomy and Topology Proficient with Maya, Photoshop, Mari, Substance Painter, zBrush and Mudbox A working knowledge of Nuke and/or modeling software Skillful in retopologizing, UVing and possesses a reasonable grasp of displacement workflows Experience in working on creatures, digi doubles and facial blend shapes a plus Understanding of rigging/animation process and its role in topology considerations Knowledge of shading using render packages like vRay and Arnold is an advantage Creative originality High dependability with flexibility
