You will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of MEP systems in our commercial interior projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP work is carried out efficiently, meets quality standards, and complies with regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Project Manager and requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to project management.Responsibilities: 1. Manage all aspects of MEP work on-site, including coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial interior projects. 2.Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to review MEP drawings, specifications, and requirements, and provide technical input during the planning and design phase. 3.Supervise and lead a team of MEP engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of MEP work according to project timelines and budget. 4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of MEP installations, identify any issues or deviations, and implement corrective measures as needed. 5.Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and consultants for MEP materials, equipment, and services procurement, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. 6. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for MEP systems, and obtain necessary approvals and permits from authorities. 7.Conduct MEP system tests, inspections, and quality checks to verify performance, functionality, and adherence to design specifications. 8.Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to MEP work, including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, warranties, and maintenance schedules. 9.Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, contractors, and clients on MEP-related matters, resolving any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle. 10.Participate in project meetings.
