As a Kitchen Helper, you will play an essential role in supporting our kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency. Your contributions will enhance the overall dining experience for our guests.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Food Preparation:** Assist chefs in preparing ingredients by chopping vegetables, measuring spices, and portioning items to streamline the cooking process.- **Maintaining Cleanliness:** Regularly clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to ensure a healthy working environment.- **Dishwashing:** Efficiently wash dishes, pots, and pans after cooking to maintain cleanliness and help chefs with their tasks.- **Stocking Supplies:** Organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring that everything is readily available for the cooking staff.- **Assisting during Service:** Help during peak service times, which may include plating dishes, refilling food items, or clearing tables.**Required Skills and Expectations:**- **Experience:** You should have 3 to 8 years of experience in a kitchen environment, showing a strong understanding of kitchen operations.- **Education:** A diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a foundation in kitchen skills.- **Team Player:** Ability to work well in a team, handling tasks promptly and helping others when needed.- **Attention to Detail:** A keen eye for cleanliness and order is essential in maintaining kitchen standards.- **Physical Stamina:** Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items, as the kitchen can be physically demanding.
