Tack-weld parts to hold alignment.Material Preparation: Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, brushing, or beveling edges to ensure optimal weld penetration and prevent defects like porosity or slag inclusion.Quality & Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure they are free of cracks, undercut, or excessive splatter. Meet structural and cosmetic shop standards.Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks on welding machines, gas regulators, torches, and cables. Maintain clean nozzles, replace consumables (contact tips, electrodes), and manage shielding gas supplies (Argon, $CO_2$, or mixes).Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to workshop safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as welding helmets (Auto-darkening), safety shoes, leather aprons, and gloves.
