As an Injection Moulding Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and monitoring injection moulding machines. You will ensure that products are made to the highest quality standards and meet production targets.Key Responsibilities:- Operate Injection Moulding Machines: You will be responsible for setting up and running the moulding machines, ensuring they function smoothly throughout the production process.- Monitor Production Processes: Keep a close eye on the machines during operation, checking for any issues that may arise and making adjustments as needed to ensure consistent product quality.- Inspect Finished Products: Conduct regular inspections of the moulded items to verify they meet design specifications and quality standards. You will sort and segregate defective items as necessary.- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance on the machines, such as cleaning and lubricating, to ensure they operate efficiently and have a long lifespan.- Document Production Records: Keep accurate records of production counts, machine settings, and any production issues to provide detailed information for team leaders and supervisors.To be successful in this role, you should have a background in mechanical or production work, ideally with 1 to 6 years of experience as an injection moulding operator. A certification from an I.T.I. program is required. You must have good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment is also essential.
