Key Responsibilities:Electrical Installations:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.Follow electrical codes, blueprints, and technical specifications.Power Distribution:Distribute electrical power within a facility, ensuring proper voltage and load distribution.Install and maintain distribution panels, circuit breakers, and transformers.Troubleshooting:Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.Use testing devices and equipment to locate faults and ensure proper functioning.Equipment Maintenance:Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.Replace or repair defective components and parts.Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Follow safety standards and regulations for electrical work.Blueprint Interpretation:Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.Understand and implement specifications outlined in technical documents.Quality Assurance:Ensure the quality and accuracy of electrical installations and repairs.Perform quality checks to verify compliance with standards.Documentation:Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.Complete work orders and reports as required.Team Collaboration:Collaborate with other members of the maintenance or construction team to achieve project goals.Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.Emergency Response:Respond to electrical emergencies promptly.Implement corrective measures during critical situations.Qualifications and Skills:ITI Certification:Completion of an ITI Electrician course or equivalent qualification.Technical Skills:Proficiency in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
