Key Responsibilities:Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Study and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of a particular project.Machine Assembly: Assemble mechanical components and machines according to specifications and guidelines.Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems. This may involve troubleshooting and repairing any malfunctions.Precision Measurement: Use precision tools and instruments to measure and inspect components to ensure they meet specified tolerances.Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as necessary for the assembly and repair of machinery.Quality Control: Ensure the quality and accuracy of work through regular inspections and adherence to industry standards.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as engineers, technicians, and supervisors, to achieve project goals and timelines.Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.Qualifications and Skills:ITI Certification: Completion of a relevant Industrial Training Institute (ITI) course in Fitting or a related field.Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques is often required.Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
