ROLE OVERVIEWThe Instrumentation & Control Engineer will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and optimisation of all measurement and control instruments across the CCL plant. This role is critical to maintaining precise temperature profiles, pressure cycles, and resin curing parameters that directly impact laminate quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInstrumentation Maintenance & Calibration- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot all field instruments: temperature sensors (RTD, thermocouples), pressure transmitters, flow meters, level sensors, and analytical instruments- Ensure all instruments are within calibrated range and traceable to national/international standards- Manage instrument inventory, spare parts, and calibration recordsProcess Control - CCL Specific- Monitor and optimise temperature profiles in press cycles (ramp, cure hold, cool-down phases)- Control and fine-tune pressure cycles during multi-daylight press lamination- Maintain resin curing parameter records and ensure process consistency across batches- Oversee drying oven temperature zones in the treater / impregnation lineControl System Support- Support PLC and DCS/SCADA system for process variable monitoring and alarming- Interface with electrical and automation teams for integrated control loop performance- Participate in new project commissioning: instrument selection, hook-up, loop testing, and start-upDocumentation & Compliance- Maintain as-built instrument index, loop diagrams, and calibration certificates- Support internal and external audits with accurate instrumentation recordsCANDIDATE PROFILEExperience- 4-10 years in instrumentation and process control in a manufacturing environment- Ideal background: continuous process industries - chemicals, laminates, textiles, plastics, or glass- Experience controlling temperature-critical process equipment (ovens, presses, reactors, boilers)Technical Skills- Proficiency with HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, or Profibus communication protocols- Hands-on calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, and analytical instruments- Familiarity with DCS systems (Honeywell, ABB, Yokogawa) or advanced PLC-based control- Working knowledge of control loop tuning (PID)Education- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Control EngineeringCritical Requirement: Preferred: Candidates from laminates, textiles, or chemical process industries who understand temperature-sensitive curing environments.REPORTING & LOCATIONReports To Senior Electrical Engineer / Plant HeadLocation - Plant Site, India

Domestic Communication With Transporter Who Can Able To Find Transporter, Negotiation & Follow Up To Transporter & Looking Day to Day Dispatch

Key Responsibilities:Maintenance & Calibration:Perform regular maintenance and calibration of Gas detectors, analyzers, and other test & measuring instruments.Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments to ensure optimal performance.Prepare calibration certificates and maintain service records.Installation & Commissioning:Install and commission field instruments and associated control systems at client locations.Ensure proper system integration with existing control systems.Conduct system testing and verification to ensure instruments are operating according to designated specifications.Spare Sales & Service Enquiries:Handle customer inquiries related to spares, technical support, and service requirements.Identify, recommend, and supply spares required by clients, ensuring correct specifications.Process orders and ensure timely delivery of requested spares.Quotation Preparation:Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations for services and spares, ensuring clarity and alignment with customer requirements.Collaborate with the sales & projects team to provide pricing and support for project bids.Client Interaction & Follow-up:Maintain continuous communication with clients to provide service updates, technical support, and ensure satisfaction.Follow up on service-related requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for future service opportunities and projects.Documentation:Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities, including maintenance logs, calibration data, quotations, and client correspondence.Ensure proper documentation for compliance with Industry / ISO standards and regulations.

Job Responsibility: 1. To ensure that GLPs followed in the laboratory. 2. To establish, develop, validate testing Procedures. 3. To Prepare protocols, reports and monitor samples of Method validation andMethod Development. To perform the calibration of instrument/equipment. To ensure that instruments andequipment are calibrated as per given schedule and records are maintained accordingly. To perform analysis for Raw material, finish products and stability samples. To ensure that samples are analysed in time and results are conveyed todepartment head or reviewer as per requirement and as per the procedure. To maintain documentation for Regulatory Submission Maintaining of SOP as per regulatory requirements and periodically reviewed. To ensure all record are maintained as per the procedures. Any other work assigned by the superiors. To prepare Method of analysis (MOA) and Specification and any otherdocuments of new drug product.
