Ltd. is looking for an experienced Customer Manager to manage and develop business relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, OEMs and channel partners in the Surat and South Gujarat market.The ideal candidate should have strong technical and commercial knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers and VAM (Vapor Absorption Machines) and proven experience in handling industrial, commercial and institutional customers.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.Generate new business opportunities for chillers, VAM and HVAC solutions across Surat and surrounding markets.Identify upcoming projects in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, textiles, hospitals, hotels, commercial buildings and manufacturing.Meet customers, consultants, MEP consultants, EPC contractors and project decision-makers regularly.Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate HVAC/chiller/VAM solutions.Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals with the engineering and application teams.Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to negotiation, order booking and execution handover.Follow up on quotations, technical submittals, commercial negotiations and purchase orders.Develop relationships with consultants and ensure company products are specified in relevant projects.Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and new project opportunities.Coordinate with service, application, project and internal sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.Handle customer complaints and coordinate internally for timely resolution.Maintain accurate sales pipeline, enquiry status, forecast and customer records.Achieve assigned sales, revenue and customer-development targets.Conduct regular market visits and prepare reports on business opportunities and customer activities.Required Technical KnowledgeThe candidate should have a good understanding of:Chilled water HVAC systemsAir-cooled and water-cooled chillersVAM / Vapor Absorption ChillersCooling towers and associated HVAC equipmentHVAC system design fundamentalsHeat load and basic equipment selection conceptsEnergy-efficient HVAC solutionsIndustrial and commercial air-conditioning applicationsHVAC project execution and commissioning basicsDesired Candidate ProfileBachelor's/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related field.3-6 years of relevant experience in HVAC sales/customer management.Experience specifically with chillers, VAM or large HVAC systems will be strongly preferred.Existing relationships with consultants, contractors, end users and industrial customers in Surat/South Gujarat will be an advantage.Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Good commercial understanding and ability to manage sales negotiations.Willingness to travel extensively within Surat and surrounding industrial areas.Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong customer relationship management and business-development skills.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales and order-booking achievementNew customer acquisitionChiller/VAM project pipeline developmentConsultant and contractor engagementConversion of enquiries into ordersCustomer retention and repeat businessCollection/payment follow-up supportMarket coverage and customer visitsAccuracy of sales forecastingTarget Customer SegmentsThe candidate will primarily develop business across:Pharmaceutical and chemical industriesTextile and manufacturing industriesHospitals and healthcare facilitiesHotels and hospitalityCommercial buildingsData centres and critical cooling applicationsIndustrial plantsEPC contractorsMEP/HVAC consultantsReal-estate and infrastructure projectsInstitutional customersCompensationSalary: Competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.The position may include performance-based incentives linked to sales and business-development targets.Ideal CandidateAn ideal candidate is a customer-focused HVAC professional with strong chiller/VAM sales experience, an established network in the Surat/South Gujarat market, and the ability to convert technical requirements into commercial business opportunities.
