- Take food and drink orders from customers: As a restaurant waiter, your main responsibility will be to interact with customers, take their food and drink orders accurately, and ensure their satisfaction with the menu items.- Serve food and beverages to customers: Once the orders are ready, you will be responsible for serving the food and drinks to the customers in a timely and professional manner.- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area: You will need to ensure that the dining area is clean and well-maintained at all times to provide a pleasant dining experience for the customers.- Provide excellent customer service: As the face of the restaurant, it is important to provide excellent customer service by being attentive, polite, and responsive to customers' needs and inquiries.Required Skills and Expectations:- Good communication skills: As a restaurant waiter, you will need to effectively communicate with customers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.- Ability to work under pressure: The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential for this role.- Excellent interpersonal skills: You should have a friendly and outgoing personality to interact with customers and provide a positive dining experience.- Basic math skills: Being able to accurately take orders, tally bills, and handle payments requires basic math skills.- Physical stamina: This role may require standing for long periods and carrying heavy trays, so physical stamina is important.
