Position: Welding QC Inspector (Saudi Aramco Approved)Location: Saudi ArabiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and Saudi Aramco-approved Welding QC Inspector to join our Oil & Gas project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all welding and fabrication activities comply with Saudi Aramco requirements, approved procedures, project specifications, and international standards. The role includes inspection, documentation, coordination with construction teams, and ensuring quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding inspections before, during, and after welding activities.Verify compliance with approved WPS, PQR, ITP, and project specificationsReview welder qualification records (WPQ/WQT) and ensure only qualified welders perform welding.Inspect material identification, traceability, fit-up, joint preparation, alignment, and welding parameters.Monitor preheat, interpass temperature, and PWHT activities.Conduct visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT).Review NDT reports and ensure acceptance criteria are met.Raise NCRs for non-conforming work and verify corrective actions.Prepare inspection reports, weld maps, welding logs, and quality documentation.Participate in client inspections, audits, and project quality meetings.Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Saudi Aramco Approval as Welding QC Inspector (Mandatory).CSWIP 3.1 or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Pipeline projects.Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, API standards, and Saudi Aramco requirements.Ability to read isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, P&IDs, and welding symbols.Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, and static equipment.Familiarity with SAP, MS Office, and QA/QC documentation systems.Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and coordination skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary packageCompany accommodation or housing allowanceTransportation providedMedical insuranceAnnual leave and air ticket as per company policyLong-term project opportunity
