Job Summary:The Sheet Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal products and structures using sheet metal. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure that the final products meet quality standards and specifications.*Key Responsibilities:*1. *Fabrication:*- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the required materials and equipment.- Operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, rollers, and other equipment to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.2. *Assembly:*- Assemble fabricated parts using welding, bolting, and riveting techniques.- Ensure that all assembled products meet the specified tolerances and quality standards.- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.3. *Installation:*- Install fabricated metal products as needed, ensuring proper fit and alignment.- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless installation processes.4. *Maintenance:*- Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.5. *Safety:*- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.6. *Documentation:*- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
