Key Responsibilities:- Order Management: Oversee the entire order process for fabrics, ensuring that all specifications and timelines are met to satisfy client requirements.- Supplier Coordination: Communicate effectively with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining strong relationships for future business.- Quality Checking: Conduct regular quality inspections of fabrics to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations, addressing any issues promptly.- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, fabric types, and pricing to assist in making informed decisions that enhance product offerings.- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on fabric inventory, sales performance, and market trends to support strategic planning.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in fabric merchandising or a related field. A 12th-grade education is required. Strong communication and negotiation skills are crucial for effectively interacting with suppliers and clients. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple orders efficiently. Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to analyze market trends are necessary for successful performance in this role.
