Job Title: Commissioning Engineer Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)Department: Operations & MaintenanceLocation: Anywhere in India Job Purpose:To ensure smooth commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs), ensuring treated water meets environmental standards. The role involves on-site coordination, chemical handling, troubleshooting, and client interaction for successful handover and continued performance.Key Responsibilities:1.. Commissioning Activities:Conduct pre-commissioning checks, flushing, testing, and trial runs.Execute system start-up, monitor parameters, and stabilize operations.2. Operational Management:Operate the plant as per standard procedures and ensure compliance with environmental norms.Record daily operational parameters like flow, pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.Maintain chemical dosing systems and ensure chemical stock levels.3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical/electrical/chemical systems.Identify and resolve operational issues and report major faults.Key Skills Required:Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (physical, chemical, biological).Familiarity with lab instruments and chemical analysis techniques.Hands-on experience in ETP start-up, troubleshooting, and O&M.Qualifications:Education: Diploma / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Environmental Science / Industrial Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related field.

Process & mechanical design of municipal & industrial Wastewater Design of Water Networks including rising mains & big diameter transmission mains. Design of raw water, clarified water & sewage pumping stations. Process design, mechanical design & detail engineering for large scale Seawater RO plants. Expert in Designing, commissioning, start-up, trouble shooting, operations for Submerged Membrane. Treatment plants- Design and detail engineering of wastewater treatment plants. Process & mechanical design of Raw water Treatment plants Preparation of Drawing of Project. Preparation of BOQ of Project. Work Executive and Commissioning of Project. Cost Estimating of Project. Selection of electro-mechanical. Preparation of a new BOQ as per DBR or Client requirement Costing of BOQ,E&M & Civil Projects related to waste water management. Tendering (preparing the BOQ to govt. & Non-govt. Department) Preparing of Tender Documents Pre-Tender and Post Project Liaoning and Coordination with departments. Bidding on E-procurement Portals in Complete Capabilities. Attending the Pre-Bid Meeting to queries. Preparing the Pre-Bid Queries. Shortlisting the Tender on daily Basis. Preparing and Submission of all Compliances for Operation & Maintenance of STP / ETP Site. Take the Periodically Meeting and Review with Project and O&M Teams. Process and Proposal Design of Sewage Treatment Plants Based on ASP, MBBR, SBR, FAB. Billing & Measurement of Quantities. Deviation Quantity Calculation. Preparing of Extra Items Statement with Analysis of Rate. Successful Execution & Handing over of Projects. Make the Adequacy Report for STP & ETP as per CPHEEO Manual.
