Job Summary:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the directors vision and is suitable for broadcasting, social media, advertising, or film. You should be skilled in using video editing software and have a strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition.Key Responsibilities:Edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing, training, social media, commercials, or film projects.Trim, cut, rearrange, and assemble footage logically and creatively.Add music, dialogues, graphics, voice-overs, and sound effects.Apply color correction, transitions, motion graphics, and other visual effects.Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to achieve desired visual style.Maintain video project libraries and archive footage properly.Ensure final videos meet brand guidelines and project specifications.Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.Requirements:Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).Familiarity with sound editing and color grading.Strong attention to detail and creativity.Ability to work under tight deadlines.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.A portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant editing work.Preferred Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Film Studies, Media, Communications, or a related field.Experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D software is a plus.Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and exporting best practices.
