Key ResponsibilitiesThe role is a mix of computer-based design and physical testing:Concept Development: Researching and sketching new ideas based on client needs or market gaps.CAD Modeling: Using software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of parts or systems.Prototyping & Testing: Building physical or digital prototypes and putting them through stress tests to see if they break or fail under pressure.Simulation (FEA/CFD): Running computer simulations to analyze how a design reacts to heat, vibration, or fluid flow before it is even built.Material Selection: Choosing the best materials (metal, plastic, composites) based on strength, weight, cost, and environmental impact.Collaboration: Working closely with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure the design can actually be built efficiently.2.
