Lead structural design and approval of foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls and roof systems for projects from concept to issuance-of-drawings. Commission and interpret geotechnical investigations (boreholes, SPT/CPT, lab tests, plate load) and translate findings into foundation recommendations and risk items. Produce/approve base structural blueprints and issued-for-construction (IFC) drawings with full bar schedules and reinforcement details. Perform or supervise structural calculations (flexure, shear, axial, serviceability, deflection, punching shear, stability) per applicable codes and sign off on key structural elements. Create/verify detailed quantity take-offs (concrete volumes, steel tonnage, formwork area, excavation, backfill) for the structural scope. Prepare provisional and refined rough structural cost estimates (RCC, reinforcement, formwork, shoring, excavation, structural labour) and reconcile with QS/estimator.Deliverables to Management (must-have) Signed Structural Report (cover, executive summary, site & soil findings, design codes & assumptions, calculation summaries, BOQ & rough structural cost, recommended remedial works, drawings appendix). Issued-for-Construction (IFC) Structural Drawings with bar schedules and material specs. Geotechnical summary (bore logs, lab certificates, allowable bearing recommendations).
