- Dispense medications accurately: As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to patients based on prescriptions provided by doctors.- Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications: You will be required to provide counseling to patients on how to take their medications correctly, including dosage, frequency, and potential side effects.- Maintain pharmacy inventory: It will be your responsibility to monitor and maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring that stock is up-to-date and properly stored.- Adhere to legal and ethical guidelines: You must follow all legal and ethical guidelines related to pharmacy practice, including patient confidentiality and proper dispensing practices.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals: You will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care and outcomes.Required Skills and Expectations:- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or related field.- Excellent knowledge of pharmacology and medication interactions.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.- Good communication skills to effectively counsel patients on medication use.- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
