Job Title: Commissioning Engineer Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)Department: Operations & MaintenanceLocation: Anywhere in India Job Purpose:To ensure smooth commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs), ensuring treated water meets environmental standards. The role involves on-site coordination, chemical handling, troubleshooting, and client interaction for successful handover and continued performance.Key Responsibilities:1.. Commissioning Activities:Conduct pre-commissioning checks, flushing, testing, and trial runs.Execute system start-up, monitor parameters, and stabilize operations.2. Operational Management:Operate the plant as per standard procedures and ensure compliance with environmental norms.Record daily operational parameters like flow, pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.Maintain chemical dosing systems and ensure chemical stock levels.3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical/electrical/chemical systems.Identify and resolve operational issues and report major faults.Key Skills Required:Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (physical, chemical, biological).Familiarity with lab instruments and chemical analysis techniques.Hands-on experience in ETP start-up, troubleshooting, and O&M.Qualifications:Education: Diploma / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Environmental Science / Industrial Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities Around 2 years 6 Years of relevant work experience with Agro-chemical industry, Pharma API Industries, Speciality Chemical Industries, Pestiside Chemical Industries. CSupervise and execute daily production activity as per micro plan and check make shift wise production. If production is not achieved as per plant capacity due to break down and inform to Engineering Dept & plant in charge/seniors. To resolve breakdown in minimum time, inform seniors, make alternate arrangements, and coordinate with Engineering Team and resolve issue. To ensure working in line as per defined operational control and run process as per log sheet, standard operation procedure (SOP) and work instruction (WI) and record data in log sheet by maintaining safety requirements using safety PPEs To minimize change over time, perform decontamination of equipment as per procedure. To take RM stock and inform to plant in charge for reservation of RM To control and reduce wastage during performing operation activities. To follow shift schedule, Handover the charge of shift to the next shift supervisor/officer, communicate plant status to plant shift in charge/plant in charge at every shift end and production figure communication to plant in charge in order to ensure smooth operations with optimum efficiency. Awareness of Quality and Safety policy and Qality and Safety objective. To collect QC result from Lab, inform QC person for FG sampling and arrange labor during sampling. To ensure best quality products are produced without any batch failure. To support in executing monthly plan issued by Plant In Charge HOD. Utilize shop floor contract workers as per requirement with safety PPEs.
