Designation : Gas chromatography Analyst (Executive)Location : Taloja Navi MumbaiQualifications : MSc. in Analytical Chemistry preferably in Chemistry.Experience : 1-5 years working with analytical instrumentation.Skill : * Ability to work directly from the USP or EP pharmacopeia and execute methods.* Experience working in contract Laboratory is considered an asset.* A solid background and understanding of Chemistry is mandatory* Experience working with PharmaceuticalsJob OverviewReporting directly to the Department Head - Chemistry, the Analyst will be responsible for providing basic technical support and analysis within the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Testing Laboratory. The Analyst will have over 3 to 5 years of laboratory testing experience with demonstrated ability to complete role/duties that are more complex. Has handled a variety of instrumentation for analytical testing and will be able to work independently with minimal/no supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in general lab duties, including clean-up, administration, logbook review, and operations support. Ensure that work is performed in compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the current test method. Writing SOPs Perform analytical tests utilizing GC and other laboratory instruments. Perform other departmental tasks such as cleaning, supply ordering, assisting with instrumentation training and maintenance, etc Documentation: Ensuring accurate reporting in lab books. *Do not apply if you don't have at least a single skill of below mentioned skills* Hands-on experience in Textile and/or Garment Processing plants and/or labs.Thorough knowledge and experience of using chemicals and process cycle involved Pre-treatment to Finishing.Well versed with local area garment processing units (at least 15-20 units).Knowledge of product development/shade & finish matching of fabric/garment samples in lab as per customer requirement.In-depth understanding of cotton woven, knits and denim materials.Have good knowledge about dye and chemicals, Testing dyes and chemicals in lab as per standards.Evaluating, identifying and selecting products from competitors.Sound knowledge of application of enzymes, softeners and textile auxiliary chemicals in textile wet processing.Prior Experience of handling at least 3-5 members team is adding an advantage.

1. Meeting with MCL team and R&D team to discuss new ideas and processes.2. Conducting Literature and market research for preparing feasibility reportson new processes.3. Designing and manufacturing new process pilot setups and lab setups.4. Conducting research on pilot and lab setups to reach the target yields5. Scale up of new processes (From Concept to commissioning).6. Creating design projects and specification sheets.7. Presenting process designs to management and stakeholders.8. Overseeing the engineering of prototypes and pilot plants.9. Testing Process for functionality, ease-of-use, and longevity.10. Resolving process issues.11. Overseeing the production process.12. Procurement and Vendor Development.13. Record Keeping14. Preparing SOPs for each process15. Preparing feasibility reports and Detailed Project Reports.Research and Development Engineer Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology,Chemical engineering or relevant field.2. 2 years' experience as an R&D engineer.3. Advanced analytical and mathematical skills.4. In-depth knowledge of mechanical and Chemical engineering.5. Proficient with computer design software including AutoCAD.6. Excellent communication skills.7. Experience with project management is preferable.8. Experience of Aspen (static and dynamic) is preferable.9.
