Job Descriptions:Safe Driving: Ensure the safety of passengers and other road users by following traffic laws and regulations. Maintain a clean driving record and prioritize safe driving practices.Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the taxi cab to ensure it is in good working condition. This includes checking the engine, brakes, tires, lights, and other essential components.Navigation: Have a strong knowledge of the local area, including streets, neighborhoods, and landmarks. Utilize GPS systems or navigation apps to efficiently navigate to the destination.Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service by being polite, courteous, and professional. Assist passengers with their luggage and help them enter and exit the vehicle safely.Fare Collection: Collect fares from passengers based on the meter or a predetermined rate. Ensure that the fare calculation is accurate and provide receipts if requested.Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with passengers. Listen to their requests, answer questions, and address concerns or complaints in a polite and professional manner.Availability: Be available for work during scheduled shifts and be responsive to calls or dispatch requests. Maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance while on duty.Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of daily trips, including the starting and ending odometer readings, the total fare collected, and any additional charges. Some cab drivers may be self-employed and responsible for managing their own finances and taxes.Vehicle Cleanliness: Keep the taxi cab clean and well-maintained, both inside and outside.
