- Key Responsibilities:1. Design and plan civil engineering projects: As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and plans for various construction projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure.2. Oversee construction activities: You will be required to supervise construction activities to ensure they comply with design specifications, safety standards, and building codes.3. Conduct site visits and inspections: Regularly visit construction sites to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.4. Prepare cost estimates and budgets: Develop cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects, and create budgets to monitor expenses.5. Collaborate with architects and contractors: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.- Required Skills and Expectations:1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering: A minimum of a B.E in Civil Engineering is required for this role.2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Ability to use Microsoft Office suite for project management, data analysis, and communication.3. Experience with Autocad: Proficient in using Autocad software for creating detailed engineering drawings and plans.4. Boq Preparation: Experience in preparing Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for construction projects.5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders, and solve complex engineering problems efficiently.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Discuss the ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a project and in somecases help to select a site; Assess the needs of the building and its users and advise the client on the practicalityof their project; Responsible for overall development and implementation of projects of architecturalprojects; Team leader in charge of overseeing match of budget and conceptual designproposal timely and profitable completion of the project; Act as a intermediary between clients and architects team, frequent travel andmeetings with clients; Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client; Assess the impact on the local environment; Use IT in design and project management, specifically using computer-aided designsoftware; Keep within financial budgets and deadlines; Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications; Specify the nature and quality of materials required; Convince the clients with design and quotation best suitable; Prepare applications for planning and building control departments;(if required) Draw up required documents for contracts; Control a project from start to finish is required; Carry out regular site visits to check on progress and ensure that the project isrunning on time and to budget; Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction; Ensure that the environmental impact of the project is managed; Meeting with client, understand their requirements; Site study, measurement, design ideas and requirements raised accordingly; Reference, concept development, presentation to client; Design development (design and confirming the same from client); All sort of drawings (working, presentation & detail); Site visit as required to keep check of development at site; Co-operating with site supervisor and other consultants for proper implementationof design.Draft the designs of wooden cottages, villas, resorts and second home projects.
