BMS Technician Jobs

- Monitor and control the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure efficient operation of building systems and equipment: As a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the BMS to maintain optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and other building systems.- Respond to alarms and alerts from the BMS and take appropriate corrective actions: You will need to promptly address any issues or malfunctions detected by the BMS to prevent disruptions in building operations and ensure the comfort and safety of occupants.- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of BMS equipment: Regular maintenance of the BMS is essential to prevent breakdowns and prolong the lifespan of equipment. You will be expected to perform scheduled checks and upkeep tasks.- Collaborate with maintenance staff and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues: Working closely with other team members, you will coordinate efforts to troubleshoot and fix any problems affecting the BMS or building systems.- Keep accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory: Maintaining detailed records is crucial for tracking system performance, identifying trends, and planning future maintenance tasks and upgrades.Required Skills and Expectations:- Strong knowledge and experience in operating and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS).- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with BMS equipment.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to address BMS-related problems.- Good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and report on system performance.- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
