Perform a variety of routine and complex tasks associated with the installation and maintenance of biomedical equipment.2. Provide the first hand support during the equipment breakdown or whenever needed by user department3. Document the introduction of new therapeutic and diagnostic equipment, corrective and preventive maintenance actions and special requests asrequired.4. Serve as a resource to Zydus Hospital employees in the proper operation and maintenance of medical equipment.5. Assist department head in capital equipment planning; assist in identifying and recommending replacement of equipment which is obsolete, hasextensive repair history, or has identified safety issues.6. Ensure that all incoming biomedical equipment is inspected as per biomedical departmental policy.7. Notify user departments regarding status of repairs and works with departments to obtain loaner or replacement equipment as required.8. Report all patient safety issues to department head and assist with correction of issue as required.9. Improve or make special test setups to conduct functional checks of medical electronic test equipment10. Perform electrical safety tests on biomedical instrumentation using test equipment.11. Meet departmental performance indicator standards on a consistent basis.12. Answer phones in a pleasant manner; screen and refer calls as appropriate; deliver messages and provide information to staff, visitors, andpatients, upon request.13. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.14. Effectively prioritize tasks and maintain required levels of productivity.15. Demonstrate initiative and concern for planning.

Candidate should have good hands-on Medical Equipment's. Installation and Breakdown calls.Candidate should have knowledge about PMS..Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventative maintenance measures.Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.

Inspect equipment to accurately identify all device parameters that do not meet OEM documented specifications.Proficiently use all test equipment related to the testing of assigned devices.Evaluate customers medical equipment issues, implement appropriate major repairs with accepted technical practices.Answers technical questions from customers and internal staff.Documents test results and equipment history.Researches technical issues using all available data.Troubleshoots and identifies the correct parts necessary to repair equipment and to correct customer problems.Talks to customers for the purpose of selling parts.Travels for onsite repairs and installations.
