Job DescriptionThe Application Engineer is a customer facing role, providing pre-sales and post sales technical and functional support to prospective customers. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate Mentor Graphics PCB product capabilities and the benefits of the solutions through presentations and advanced demonstrations.Conduct discovery and requirements gathering sessions to analyze and understand customer needs, workflows and technical requirements. Troubleshoot customer technical problems, analyse customer product development processes and create sample documents, application sample designs and applications for qualified customer prospects.Develop and/or collate sample documents, applications and other sales enablement materials for use by sales and marketing teams. Provide technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations. Collaborate with sales and services teams to specify, recommend and architect comprehensive customer solutions. Participate in and support the sales proposal process, including software and services elements.Qualification : BE or B.Tech. ( E&C/ E&E / Instrumentation)Skills/ Experience: experience on tools like PADS, Hyperlynx, Altium, Allegro etc Good Technical knowledge on PCB/ SI/EMC Exposure to board design and verification would be an added advantage Experience in product positioning Good communication skills Self-starter/ learnerResponsibilities: Discussing customer's needs and identifying suitable product mix Conduct presentation on products/concepts Providing Pre and Post product support Conducting / Initiating Product seminars and conferences Deliver demo and technical presentation Resolve customer's critical technical problemsSoft Skills: Excellence in teamwork. Possess conceptual, analytical and presentation skills. Creative, dynamic & confident. Should be an initiator Able to work under pressure. Should be able to work under different cultures.

To install and configure the LUCID suite of software solutions for hotels and restaurants. 2. Train end users in proper usage of the software. 3. Provide post implementation support on software for end users.

Responsibilities:1. Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.2. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.3. Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.4. Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits. 5. Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until theyve solved a technical issue. 6. Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., software developers). 7. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers. 8. Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions. 9. Ensure all issues are properly logged. 10. Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time. 11. Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting. 12. Prepare accurate and timely reports. 13. Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals. 14. Maintain jovial relationships with clients. 15. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.Suitable & interested!!
