- Handling air cargo shipments:Responsible for managing the logistics of air cargo shipments, including coordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs officials.- Ensuring compliance with regulations:Ensure that all air cargo shipments meet national and international regulations, including hazardous materials handling and customs documentation.- Tracking and monitoring shipments:Keep track of all air cargo shipments in real-time, monitoring their progress and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.- Customer service and communication:Provide excellent customer service to clients, keeping them informed of their shipment status and handling any inquiries or concerns they may have.- Documentation and record-keeping:Maintain accurate records of all air cargo shipments, including invoices, customs forms, and other necessary documentation.Skills and Expectations:- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, airlines, and other stakeholders.- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple air cargo shipments simultaneously.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.- Basic computer skills to input and track shipment data accurately.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth operations in the air cargo department.
