Position Summary:The Aeronautical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of aircraft and aerospace systems. The role focuses on improving flight safety, efficiency, and performance while ensuring compliance with aviation standards and regulations. The engineer works closely with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative and reliable aerospace solutions.Key Responsibilities: Design & DevelopmentDesign and develop aircraft components, structures, and systems.Use CAD/CAM software (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) for 2D/3D modeling.Analyze aerodynamic, structural, and propulsion systems to optimize performance.Conduct feasibility studies for new design concepts and prototypes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing. Testing & AnalysisPerform wind tunnel tests, flight simulations, and performance evaluations.Analyze test results to identify design flaws or areas of improvement.Conduct structural and fatigue analysis using tools like ANSYS or MATLAB.Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards (DGCA, FAA, EASA). Production & MaintenanceSupport the manufacturing process by providing technical input and design validation.Assist in maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, and repair of aircraft systems.Evaluate materials and production methods for efficiency and durability. Documentation & CompliancePrepare technical reports, test documentation, and certification papers.Ensure compliance with aviation standards and environmental regulations.Maintain accurate records of design modifications, testing, and approvals.
