We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot video surveillance systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of security systems, networking, and structured cabling, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, access control systems, and related security equipment.Perform system upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance.Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement and system requirements.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.Run and terminate structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optic where applicable).Configure IP cameras and integrate systems with network infrastructure.Ensure all installations comply with company standards and safety regulations.Provide end-user training on system operation and basic troubleshooting.Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service reports, and maintenance records.Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project managers as needed. Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field.Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role in security systems.Strong knowledge of analog and IP surveillance systems.Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, routers, switches, port forwarding).Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.Experience working with access control and alarm systems is an advantage.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.Valid drivers license (if required for field service roles).
