Position - Sr. Mechanical Design EngineerJob description:We are looking for a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer having expertise in design, calculation and product development using latest tools and techniques. The candidate shall have experience in oil & gas equipment or valve manufacturing company. This position will be responsible for carrying out duties of the engineering department, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation and process improvements.Roles and responsibilities:3D modeling and drawings of valve and assemblies by using Solid EdgeApply GD&T and check tolerance stacks on assemblies prior to release the drawingsComplete all engineering assignments related to product development accurately and on time including fluid mechanic & mechanical design calculations, 3D modeling and detailing (of parts and assemblies)Co-ordinate with internal as well as global counterparts through virtual conference calls or emailsSoftware skills:Expertise in Solid Edge/SolidWorks solid modeling, surface modeling and assembly is mustShould be familiar with Mathcad or other softwareExpertise in MS Excel, power point will have an added advantageOther requirements:Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years experienceMinimum 5 years hands on working experience of design calculation, flow and velocity calculation as per ASME, ASTM, API, ANSI, NACE.
