As a Costing Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing production costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing cost estimates for new products or projects. You will work closely with various teams to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy in pricing.Key responsibilities include analyzing cost data to determine product costs, monitoring cost trends, and proposing cost reduction strategies. You will also be responsible for preparing cost estimates for new projects, ensuring accurate pricing and budgeting. Additionally, you will collaborate with procurement and production teams to optimize costs and improve overall financial performance.To succeed in this role, you must have a degree in Engineering or related field, with 1-4 years of experience in cost analysis or engineering. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills are essential. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. It is expected that you have a keen eye for detail and a strong problem-solving mindset to identify cost-saving opportunities.
